With our vast pool of knowledge
gained in the performance car market, itg are now leading the
field in specialist motorcycle air filtration.
Our experience includes racing
filters for the World Superbike, British Superbike, development
filters for 500cc Grand Prix bikes and filters for the Bol D’or
24-hour race.
Using new, specially produced laminates, we also produce filters for Ducati and
Triumph motorcycles, together with an increasing number of other road-going machines.
We are constantly trying to seek out new business to further develop and bring
new products into the Motorcycle marketplace. Bridging the gap between two and
four wheels and developing products that work is not simple. We are a company
that do not take short cuts in development which means that it takes time to
it absolutely right. We design to a standard not just to a price.
By understanding the subtle
differences between motorcycles and our our core automotive business,
we have been able to develop new laminates especially for motorcycle
applications. Whilst the actual requirement of filtration is
the same for both, the manner in how it is done is quite different.
We are privileged to work
with some of the best Super Bike Race Teams in Britain. It is
through rigorous testing and meticulous documentation of information
that we are making our products work better for motorcycle applications.
With an itg filter you are getting a product that is tried and
tested time and time again before it reaches performance aftermarket
production.
We regularly make and fit filters where filters have not previously been used.
In some circumstances, when it is not financially prudent to manufacture something
for cost reasons, we take the stock filter and modify it in a way that enhances
it's performance.
From one-offs to standard ranges, itg filters are really making it big in bikes.
In fact, our innovative designs are so good they’re now being copied by
our competitors.
And the future looks equally promising. We will continue to increase our range
